Nosy Be
The literal translation of Nosy Be is Big (Be) Island (Nosy), but it is also known as « the island of perfumes » for its ylang ylang and vanilla plantations.
The interior of the island has numerous lakes formed around volcanic sites, as well as a tropical forest with sprouts a surprising wide range of biodiversity. Moreover, the archipelago has some of the most beautiful beaches in the world.
